Cooper's Creek Wildlife Management Area is one of Georgia's larger wildlife management areas. It spans more than 30,000 acres, and lies within the Chattahoochee National Forest. This WMA is located in the extreme northeast corner of Georgia and nearly borders North Carolina.

Cooper Creek Recreation Area is located along the banks of Cooper Creek in the North Georgia mountains. Campers can experience all types of recreation activites, including camping, hiking, trout fishing, and hunting. Anglers may fish Cooper Creek and nearby Mulky Creek, both of which are trout streams for wild and stocked trout.

Nestled in the heart of Branson on Lake Taneycomo, Cooper Creek Resort and Campground offers one, two, three, and four bedroom non-smoking cabins. Each cabin comes with a fully equipped kitchen complete with microwave, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, as well as pots and pans. Towels and linens for your stay will be provided.

Where is Coopers Creek Campground? This stunning part of the world is just off Walhalla Road, and about 10 minutes drive from the historic town of Walhalla itself. We took the drive into town not long after setting our camper up, and were stunned at how picturesque, different and inviting the town was.

Coopers Creek Yellow Mountain Trail. Enjoy this 3.6-mile out-and-back trail near Suches, Georgia. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 53 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, camping, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring.

Cooper Creek Recreation Area Campground has 25 campsites and is located on the banks of Cooper Creek in the North Georgia Mountains. A few sites are right next to the creek and campsite #24 is a group site. Some sites are tent only. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 35 feet).

The trails listed below start in or near the Cooper Creek Campground. They are interconnected and off several short loop opportunities. These trails are for hiking only. Specialties: We have 70 Full Hook-up RV campsites (from Class A to Pop-up), 28 cabins, boat and slip rentals, and a convenience store for necessities, bait, adult beverages, fishing licenses, firewood, ice, gas, and more. Established in 1959. The resort and campground had been owned by the same family for the past 27 years and was recently purchased May 1st, 2019
